چکیده

We obtain static and rotating electrically charged black holes of a Einstein-Maxwell-Dilaton theory of the Brans-Dicke type in (2+1)dimensions. The theory is specified by three fields, the dilaton φ, the graviton gμν and the electromagnetic field Fμν , and two parameters, the cosmological constant Λ and the Brans-Dicke parameter ω. It contains eight different cases, of which one distinguishes as special cases, string theory, general relativity and a theory equivalent to four dimensional general relativity with one Killing vector. We find the ADM mass, angular momentum, electric charge and dilaton charge and compute the Hawking temperature of the solutions. Causal structure and geodesic motion of null and timelike particles in the black hole geometries are studied in detail. Exact static solutions in four dimensional Einstein-Maxwell-Dilaton gravity

Classes of exact static solutions in four-dimensional Einstein-MaxwellDilaton gravity are found. Besides of the well-known solutions previously found in the literature, new solutions are presented. It’s shown that spherically symmetric solutions, except the case of charged dilaton black hole, represent globally naked strong curvature singularities. The scalar field is believed to play an importa...

Cold scalar-tensor black holes coupled to a massless scalar field

New four-dimensional black hole solutions of Brans-Dicke equations with a negative constant ω, coupled to a massless scalar field, are presented. The temperature of these black holes is zero and the horizon area is infinite. An astrophysical application is also discussed. Scalar-tensor theories of gravity are considered as the most natural generalizations of general relativity. From theoretical...

Electrically charged dilatonic black rings

In this note we present (electrically) charged dilatonic black ring solutions of the EinsteinMaxwell-dilaton theory in five dimensions and we consider their physical properties. These solutions are static and as in the neutral case possess a conical singularity. We show how one may remove the conical singularity by application of a Harrison transformation, which physically corresponds to suppor...

Electrically Charged Cold Black Holes in Scalar-tensor Theories

We study the possible existence of charged black holes in the Bergmann-Wagoner class of scalar-tensor theories (STT) of gravity in four dimensions. The existence of black holes is shown for anomalous versions of these theories, with a negative kinetic term in the Lagrangian. The Hawking temperature TH of these holes is zero, while the horizon area is (in most cases) infinite. As a special case,...

Charged black holes in string-inspired gravity II. Mass inflation and dependence on parameters and potentials

We investigate the relation between the existence of mass inflation and model parameters of string-inspired gravity models. In order to cover various models, we investigate a Brans-Dicke theory that is coupled to a U(1) gauge field. By tuning a model parameter that decides the coupling between the Brans-Dicke field and the electromagnetic field, we can make both of models such that the Brans-Di...
